Adonis Casinillo

Adonis is one of World Vision's go to persons during emergencies, especially for fragile contexts.

He currently leads the organization's humanitarian work in Marawi and other areas of Lanao del Sur. Although his work does not afford him to see his family everyday, he takes on the challenge, hopeful that Marawi can one day fully recover from the impact of the 2017 siege and now, from COVID-19.

Adonis has a rich experience on development work. Prior to doing full time humanitarian work, he was a disaster risk reduction specialist, providing technical support to WV partner LGUs in Mindanao. He also used to be WV's Program Manager, facilitating development projects in Mindanao.

Dondon (Adonis) always advocates for the inclusion of community people in the decisions that the organization makes. The way he talks and deals with partners also makes everyone comfortable around him.
